On Thursday, April 9, 2020, Keith Harvey, longtime resident of Azle, Texas, passed away at the age of 63. He died in his home, with devoted wife and lifelong friend Lynn at his side.
He was the son of R.D. and Betty Harvey of Houston, Texas. He had a larger than life personality, talking to anyone and everyone. He traveled all over the world with Lynn, his beloved sister Stacey Harvey and her partner Paul Elam. Rain or shine, he loved sitting in his yard under the tree. He bred and raced homing pigeons.
He worked hard. He earned degrees in history, teaching and theology. A savvy businessman, he had numerous partnerships and ventures, even receiving a Masters in Mining Engineering contemporaneously with his career at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
He taught his son, Daniel Harvey, long-distance running and Tae Kwon Do. His daughter, Sage LaMaster, worked under his wing doing projects around the home as well as at his businesses. She and her husband, Brandon LaMaster Jr, are raising his three beautiful grandchildren: Isaac, Elijah, and River with a fourth on the way.
He faced his final challenge with great courage and faith in the Lord.
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
